Long weekend

Friday's shopping trip was profitable -- I got some GREAT deals on some items I needed for gifts and for the classroom. I also had fun with my friends in line and on the hunt. The group I was with was experienced and well-coordinated and avoided places that would be crazy insane with limited quantities -- we went mostly to office supply stores (ohhh, the excitement.) It was worth the getting up early.

The rest of the weekend was filled with knitting, parties and configuring newly purchased equipment. In knitting, I finished a special scarf that is now blocking, and I practiced some more on making ribs and the seed stitch on a couple other projects on the needles. My SIL I got started is now doing cables.

Today is a teacher workday designed for decorating the classrooms. I am configuring the new laptop I picked up (this is where I am writing today's post from.)
