The End is Near...

...and the party plans are set. We arrive at Barnes & Noble tomorrow at four, where the party begins with activities headed up by Ms. Lynn, who has known Aenea since The Very Hungry Caterpillar was her favorite book. We shuttle back home Aenea and four friends for a night of reading and moving watching (using the projector and the blank wall in the living room.) After the girls go home there is a break in family parties ;-) then on Sunday we gather with family and friends and do it over. Monday, treats during Oklahoma rehearsal and Tuesday is her school celebration. Whew, she is bringing in 11 in style!

This morning we had our parent/teacher conference. We are so fortunate that Aenea has teachers who have known her since she was four and whom we count among our friends. Aenea is in a lot of ways much like I was as a child, except that she is being raised and schooled in a much better environment for her personality and quirks.

I hope all is well with the end party.

Your description of Aenea reminds me of how I view Kynan--much like me only with less "interesting" parenting. I am so happy to see him shine, as you are with Aenea.
