My friend and I crossed the bridge. It looked like we might get hit by a passing rainstorm, but it managed to pass us by to the west with only a few drops. As we were on the top of the bridge on our return trip, we watched a pod of porpoises playing in the lagoon, and there were babies...awww. I was surprised that I was not afraid of the height, the slope seemed less than it does when driving and I easily made the trip in noontime heat without getting winded at all. The only effects were some cramps in the muscles on the back of my legs the first time I got out my car after the walk.
I also installed some memory in the the HP Pavilion at the school. I don't have a lot of hardware experience, so I was so excited when I booted up and the memory had tripled! Whoo. With that and the OS Upgrade I should be able to squeeze another year or two of use out of the machine. This is how IT works in education :-)
We are starting to think about packing for the trip. We now have lots of clean clothes to choose from. It might be hot when we get there, but we should probably not be naked in Vermont.
