I'm back in Houston, Texas for a refresher on my Montessori Middle School training. Those who have known me for a good while know that I spent two summers here in 2002-2003, what my goals were and how that ended. It's a very different perspective for me in coming back. I am here the same week those who are just starting their training this year are arriving and getting adjusted to the routine of the next eight weeks of their life. It brings back a lot of memories, and surprisingly, I even feel positive about the bad memories as well as the good memories. I have learned, and I am ready to grow and move into being a support for Sun Grove and the teacher who will be filling the full-time teaching position at the new Middle School.

I also have Aenea with me, and it's really interesting to return to training having her be in those first stirrings of young adolescent and knowing through daily life what an adventurous and tumultuous time of life this is.
