The Fever has Broken

After six days of laying on the couch with temperatures between 101 and 105 -- and two visits to the doctor -- Aenea's fever broke for good early Monday. I kept her home from school on Monday and then took her in for a full day yesterday -- which was about 1/2 day more than she could really do...we got home 4 PM and she fell into a deep 5 1/2 hour nap on the couch, then got up, ate, took her meds and went to bed. She is a lot more like her usual perky self this morning, but I'll see how she is at lunchtime.
