Whew, I can not wait until this Gobin Gala tomorrow night. I am excited about it but I am also about printed out. We almost have costumes together and the camera is ready to go. As far as the kids party and parade on Sunday, I just found out tonight that the costume I brought Aenea was missized. Ugh, I have to go out and try to return or purchase a new one on the weekend EVERYONE will be looking for and buying costumes.
This time next week I will be with a dear friend in Austin. Yay!
I'm heading to Texas to visit the place where I took Montessori Middle School training in 2002-2003 with our boss and the teacher taking the training 2006-2007.
Between this visit and a friend's costume, I was inspired to revisit an assignment from my training. It was to produce and present something that represented our own experiences during our adolescence. I chose to make a soundtrack and my presentation was the CD cover and annotated lyrics. This evening I finally gathered the last few songs together and burned them to a CD.
The track list:
1)Just a Closer Walk With Thee — Patsy Cline
2)Do You Really Want to Hurt Me — Culture Club
3)New Song — Howard Jones
4)Sun and the Rainfall — Depeche Mode
5)Satellite — Depeche Mode
6)Shake the Disease — Depeche Mode
7)Terrible Lie — Nine Inch Nails
8)Watching the Wheels — John Lennon
9)Get the Balance Right — Depeche Mode
10)Barrel of a Gun — Depeche Mode
11)Pictures of You — The Cure
12)True Faith — New Order
Any of my blog readers have a soundtrack of their youth?

I'll have to think on it. Might be fun to make a sountrack, if I can avoid maudlin Linda Ronstadt songs, (I Never Will Marry, blah blah).
