It is said that Florida has two seasons, Hurricane and Tourist. We natives have learned to pick up on subtle things like the changing of the license plate colors ;-) Actually, there is a sense of Fall here and what one learns to sense is that there is always one day in September, preceded by a rainy day, where the air is just a *shade* cooler and it always ends with a spectacular sunset. Today was that day. I find that I always have a mind shift when that day arrives.
Cute thing came in the mail today -- Aenea and I each have a new ring. I ordered a pair after my opal stone broke, I hate that. I have had a busy week at work. The theme for this week in the lab was testing new keyboarding programs. The other thing occupying my time is LLL. I am presenting a session where I unveil a website. I hadn’t counted on that, its just interesting timing. I am also helping with a session on education; I’m really more excited about that session (it’s a panel.) I do look forward to learning about other’s experiences...
…here's the ring link, almost forgot. It’s the same company that made our anniversary bands.
We are also gearing up to plan Aenea’s 11th birthday party. The theme is A Series of Unfortunate Events since The End comes out the Friday before her BD. Maybe we should write the invitations in Sebald Code. Nah, too much thinking (is it the 10th or 11th word?) not enough time…
