We returned safely on Sunday night. We had a two hour security wait at LAX -- and this was AFTER Jeremy called Southwest and they said we wouldn't need to show up before 4:30 AM because there would be no staff there to check bags...then our connecting flight from Phoenix jumped ahead of the delayed flight on the board and we almost missed our flight when my SIL realized they were calling our flight number (they weren't announcing the city at all!!!!) So, center seats for everybody -- at least we were all in the same section of the aircraft.
I still have a lot of pictures to sort through and upload to dotphoto. However, on the day after we got back I had a doctor's appointment. Good News -- I lost another 5lbs while on vacation, which puts me at 10% of previous weight lost so I can stop taking my HBP medicine and see if it zooms up again, and if so, go to a 50% dose. Bad News -- she had to cut out this funny spot on my shoulder and send it off for a biopsy, and my blood sugar was still high, so I got a bonus Doctor visit on Wednesday to check stitches and sugar and was prescribed a med for the blood sugar :-( I have decided that this getting older thing sucks, but it does beat the alternative.
I started working with students in the computer lab today -- also put some more time into set-up this week. We have some pretty computer-savvy 1st graders. Several of them even have their own laptops! No, they can't bring them to school -- that will be a middle school marker.

Hope to see photos soon. Sorry about your shoulder, but good on the weight thing. I am glad you made it home. Traveling can be so exhausting, and you sure traveled a lot. Oh well, at least I could enjoy YOUR vacation.
Welcome home! I enjoyed your travels vicariously!
Good for you for the weight loss, and I hope you can do the same thing for blood sugar!
