The magic bullet

Mom gets a big "told you so" from Aenea. For a couple of years, she has been asking for one of those Magic Bullet mini-blender things they hawk on TV. We were at a big box homegoods store yesterday looking for chairs for her room and the library and she finally convinced me to try one.

This story starts a few days ago, actually. Aenea really loves to cook, has a real knack for it and enjoys it even more now that she can do it mostly independent of me. She mentioned wanting to have a way to grind fresh spices.

So, there we are in the big box and they have like a gazillion of these things on sale. She points out they can grind spices and make dips and make shakes on and on and so I give in. And you know, the thing really does work, and being a small family it's a lot easier than dragging out the big blender for all those small daily things. Hopefully the motor won't blow in three days -- it's good for Aenea to be right now and again.

And we got the chair, also.
