Guts and boxes

Today was the beginning of setting up the computer room at the school, which is where today's blog is being written. There are computer guts and boxes scattered across the room. I configured one of the new computers and upgraded the operating system on a computer on which I think I can get two more years of use.

I also have all the specs I need for my iMac upgrade experiment. If I pull this off, it will be one step closer to my one day dream of building a computer that runs totally Open Source.

Ahh, I see a WinXP welcome screen. That means I am finished here today.
